More about the speakers of ‘Policy and Politics’ (Parallel Session D3)

The Parallel Session ‘Policy and Politics’ is going to take place from 4pm to 5pm on Saturday, July 18th.

Starting with Hans van Kranenburg from Radboud University, Netherlands. He will be talking about ‘A European Comparison of Innovation Policies to Trigger Innovation in Journalism and News Media’.

Following Paulo Faustino from Porto University and the Centre of Investigation in Media & Journalism – CIMJ, Portugal. He has over twenty years of experience in the Media Industries in Management and Marketing as well as over fifteen years of experience as a teacher in Media Management and Economics. His research covers the Media and Creative Industry Studies. His topic ‘Market Structure and Innovation Policies in Portugal’ focuses on Media Business Models and Public Policies Innovation.

Lastly we will hear about ‘Excessive Regulation through Bureaucratic Bullying: Evaluating Broadcast Regulation in South Asia’ from Azmat Rasul from Florida State University, USA.
